What I Have, What I Dream Of

An exploration of the layers that exist in nature, with the city on the top, most of the time.

An excerpt from the continuously revised fellowship proposal, which I think summarizes this work:
My artwork has become the means by which I investigate the qualities of both the country and the city that, respectively, beckon and repel me. Both environments intrigue me; I love the paradox of the simultaneous pattern and irregularity that exist in seemingly opposite environments.
